John Moore of Getty Images has visited American-run detention centers in Iraq, including Abu Ghraib and Camp Cropper; prisons for Taliban fighters in Afghanistan run by that country’s National Directorate of Security; the Pul-e-Charki prison outside Kabul; and, more recently, the Guantánamo Bay detention center.
