My first visit to Pyongyang in 18 years.

Between 1978 and 1992 I had the opportunity to visit and stay in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), so called North Korea, 13 times, for a total of 9 months, traveling to all the provinces, covering all four seasons, all of which resulted in a great diversity of coverage. For this recent trip, my first to the DPRK in 18 years, I was given a permit to stay for 11 days, so I decided to concentrate on the capital city of Pyongyang
