&lt;p&gt;The Ukrainian photographer Andrey Lomakin began his project “Forgotten Victories” in the fall of 2013, after the Ukrainian magazine My Sports, where he had worked as a photo editor and photographer, ceased publication. While emptying his office, Lomakin found a box of unprotected negatives in which transparent sheets of sports photos had stuck together, creating accidental collages that reminded him of the Soviet-era sports propaganda that was ubiquitous during his youth.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
