Elmina is a picturesque, historic fishing community dating back to the 1400s. It is one of the first European settlements in West Africa located on the south-facing bay on the Atlantic Ocean coast of Ghana. While passing through Elmina, photographer Tomasz Tomaszewski was intrigued by the beautiful landscape and the coastal fisherman’s artisanal way of life. So he went there to document what he saw.
