World Press Photo’s Michiel Munneke on Multimedia

In the days leading up to the judging of the first multimedia contest, World Press Photo managing director Michiel Munneke discusses his expectations and the foundation’s motivation to expand its activities to include an annual multimedia competition.

As he looks forward to the kick off of the inaugural judging, Munneke aims to take the input and feedback from the jury, combined with the organization’s experience of organizing a photo contest for the past 56 years, in order to refine the process for the future.
