Steven Sotloff, Second American Journalist Executed By ISIS

In the second instance of The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) beheading an American journalist on camera, today a video tape was released purporting to show the execution of Steven Sotloff, 31.

Sotloff was a freelance conflict correspondent who worked for Time, the Christian Science Monitor, World Affairs Journal, and others. He was kidnapped by terrorists in Aleppo, Syria about one year ago while reporting on the civil war.
