The other end of the spectrum is something like the U.S. auto industry in the 1980s. You don’t have to drive a Buick Slyhawk to know the entire industry was in crisis. One glance says it all. I’m not claiming cameras are like cars. Most current models work just fine regardless of aesthetics. But some designs leave me scratching my head. What were they thinking?
