Denver Post, The Herald & Sports Illustrated Win BOP's Best Use Of Photography
Tim Rasmussen and The Denver Post have won the Best Use Of Photography category for newspapers with 75,000 circulation or over in NPPA’s 2010 Best Of Photojournalism competition the judges announced today, and Justin Rumbach and The Herald in Jasper, IN, have won the Best Use title for newspapers with circulation less than 75,000.
And the Best Use Of Photography category for Magazines was won by Jim Colton and Sports Illustrated.

Best Of Photojournalism: Judges Selecting Picture Editing Winners
Judging in the Picture Editing categories of the National Press Photographers Association’s 2010 Best Of Photojournalism competition is now underway at Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication (VisCom) in Athens, and on Wednesday night the panel started picking winners from 26 categories that include more than 800 entries.

Sophie Ristelhueber Wins the 2010 Deutsche Borse Photography Prize
French photographers Sophie Ristelhueber was awarded the 2010 Deutsche Börse Photography Prize today in a ceremony at The Photographers’ Gallery, London. The £30,000 ($45,900) prize, founded in 1996 and administered by The Photographers’ Gallery, is awarded to a living photographer who has made the most significant contribution to photography in Europe in the past year.
