To be frank, this camera has a few minor (but quite important to higher end users) upgrades to it’s little brother. There are in effect a lot of SMALL yet very IMPORTANT changes that will have a significant impact on those using this camera in actual PRODUCTIONS.

Nikon-D800-or-D800e
So, if you want the highest resolution that this camera can provide, then the “e” model is the way to go. But, there’s a price to be paid, and that is the possibility of moiré under some circumstances. As well, there’s the need to use exceptional shooting technique to really realize the advantage that the D800e can offer over the D800. Without such techniques, you’re wasting your money and you’d be better of with the regular D800. We’ll look at this in detail momentarily.

Sony RX100 Review
The summary judgement for me is that the new Sony RX100 is hands-down the most appealing pocket-sized digital camera yet. Capable of producing DSLR grade images, it’s hard to find much to fault with this small pocket wonder. While it is too pricy for many, given that it will almost certainly be a second or even third camera, for demanding quality-conscious photographers looking to own an always-along camera able to produce pro-quality results, the RX100 is not just hard, but for the moment almost impossible to beat.

How I Learned to Stop Loving the DSLR: Review of the Sony RX1
How I Learned to Stop Loving the DSLR: Review of the Sony RX1 – PhotoShelter Blog
Ever since I purchased my first DSLR in 2001, it’s been difficult to go back to a point-and-shoot camera because of the poor image quality. In the film days, there wasn’t as drastic a difference between SLR and point-and-shoot because all the cameras used 35mm film. The only gating factor was the lens. But sensor…

Fuji x100s Follow Up Review :: Life Without DSLRs
I have been DSLR free for about two months and all is well. During the past two months I’ve been to Cuba, New York (x2), and Arizona. I feel I have hit just about every type, and kind, of job I do and my little Fujis have performed flawlessly. I really relied on them in Arizona where I was shooting for Land Rover. I shot that job with a mix of Fujis and the Phase One. Everything else has been Fuji only.
