The photographer Larry Clark, whose portraits can command thousands of dollars, is selling some of his smaller prints for $100 each.

The sale is for people who “come to my shows in thousands and could never afford 10 to 15 thousand dollars for a print,” Mr. Clark, 70, wrote in an email. “This is a payback to all the skate rats and collectors who would like a souvenir, so I can die happy.”

For me, it’s about the people and how the moment fits into that scenario. I am constantly re-discovering myself through my work and I’ve learned that following your heart trumps all.
