In this edition of “Behind the Lens”, Alex Federowicz interviews editorial and commercial photographer Michael Rubenstein, who’s back to work after a recent motorcycle accident.
Michael Rubenstein is a commercial and editorial photographer who has recently returned to a lovely apartment in Brooklyn after spending two and a half years photographing South Asia. Michael’s work has appeared in Mother Jones, BusinessWeek, Time, Time Asia, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Michael Rubenstein is a freelance photographer with Redux Pictures and is located in Mumbai, India. Rubenstein previously worked as a contract and freelance photographer for the Oregonian in Portland, Oregon. Rubenstein has an environmental studies degree from Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona and studied photojournalism in the graduate program at Ohio University.
