We received a reasonable number of A7R cameras in, but only a few copies of the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 FE lens and none of the 55mm f/1.8 Sony Zeiss Sonnar FE that Rob Murray reviewed with such spectacular results. But what we had was what we had, so we mounted the 35mm FE to the A7R and ran a set of tests.
