When Photographer Tytia Habing was considering motherhood, she pictured having a daughter.  When she had a son, she wasn’t quite prepared for the journey of The Boy–the energy, the mess, the joy and magic that comes from seeing the world through the unique lens of the opposite sex.  Her series, This is Boy, captures moments of her son’s childhood that allow a deeper understanding of his sense of self, but also the connection her son has to the natural world.
